Michael Strahan Is a Proud Dad as He Praises His Daughter Tanita for Pursuing Her Dream

Michael Strahan's daughter Tanita Strahan made him the proudest father as she chases her dream of becoming a successful visual artist. The proud father took to Instagram to promote her website.

"Good Morning America" host Michael Strahan is proud of his eldest daughter, Tanita, who is well on her way to turn her dreams into reality.

The proud father took to Instagram to give his daughter a shoutout and shared a snapshot of her website's homepage that featured one of her paintings.

A PROUD FATHER

In the caption to the post, Strahan wrote that he is proud of his daughter for "pursuing her dream and crushing it" before urging his fans to buy get their art pieces from her website.

Tanita is a gifted visual artist who is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. According to her website, she has worked with various mediums including gouache, ink, acrylic, and watercolor.

The 28-year-old is also familiar with the world of photography and graphic design. Even though she leads a quiet life as compared to her famous father, Tanita is a star in her own right.

Strahan and Hutchins continued to co-parent their daughter and their son, Michael Strahan Jr.

MICHAEL WAS 20 WHEN TANITA WAS BORN

Tanita was born to Strahan and his ex, Wanda Hutchins in 1992 when he was still a college student and a rising football star. In his 2015 book "Wake Up Happy," he revealed that he welcomed his daughter during his senior year in Texas Southern when he was about to make it to the pros. He further wrote:

"I was twenty years old and I was going to have a baby. My fiancèe was back home in Germany, and I wished I had figured out a way to get home for the birth."

According to Strahan, he felt alone that day because he could not be there for Hutchins. After Tanita was born, she became the reason why he pushed harder and gave his 101 percent to get that NFL contract.

Strahan and Hutchins tied the knot in 1992. Unfortunately, the couple could not make their union work and decided to end their marriage in 1996.

HIS BIG BROOD

Although they got divorced, Strahan and Hutchins continued to co-parent their daughter and their son, Michael Strahan Jr. They share a close bond with each other.

Besides Tanita and Michael Jr., Strahan is a proud father to his twin girls, Isabella and Sophia, who he welcomed while he was married to his ex-wife, Jean Muggli.
