The photo showed Kez seated on a table, with a smile on his face as he stared at the camera. He looked adorable in a black polo shirt while rocking perfect afro hair.

Long's 8-year-old son looked all set to conquer the third grade, and his mom made sure of that. To ensure he got through the day, the actress helped the youngster with a plate of gourmet which he was evidently enjoying from the picture. Captioning the post, she wrote:

Going further, she encouraged every mom out there dealing with their children's transitions to a new grade and growing up to stay strong.

Long and her long time basketball beau, Udoka welcomed their son in November 2010, confirming the new addition, his name, and gender a few days later.

News of their engagement first hit the media in May that year after spotting the lovebirds out in public with Long rocking a diamond sparkler.

Long also has a son, Massai, from her previous relationship with Massai Dorsey. Although the two broke up in 2001, they maintained a successful co-parenting relationship.

The "Big Momma's House" actress has been open about her challenges with raising her teenage son. She also reflected on how she harnessed the Tyler Perry hit movie, "The Single Mom's Club" where Massai starred as her fictional son, to teach him an important life lesson. She recounted:

"I knew in my heart that he could do it. But I wanted him to go through the process of earning something, and also for him to understand what I do."

The lesson was well received, and Masssai understood everyone needed to work hard to achieve what they wanted. She has also passed down the lesson to her second son, Kez. Gladly, Long's Nigerian fiancé supports her parenting approach.

Many may recall that the movie star became engaged to Udoka in 2020 after they dated for almost five years.
