They say that blondes have more fun and for Shaunie O'Neal, this seems to be true in the latest video shared on her Instagram page.

O'Neal, who used to be married to basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, first made a name for herself after she created the hit show "Basketball Wives" in 2010.

Her recent post is a throwback that sees herself and her friend Malaysia, as she tried on a blond wig, much to their amusement.

The star's followers cannot get enough of the look, with many pointing out in the comment section that she looked beautiful as a blonde, with another writing:

"Yassssss ? looking beautiful! You should wear that color again. Looks great on you ??."

Others agreed and another fan said O'Neal looked "bomb blonde" while others left heart and fire emojis and compliments for the reality star.

O'Neal was married to the basketball player from 2002, briefly splitting up in 2007. After a brief reconciliation, she filed for divorce in 2010.

It was a platform to display themselves and tell the lives of basketball wives, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The former couple has four children together - Shareef Rashaun, Amira, Shaqir, and Me'arah. They also have children from previous relationships - Myles and Taahira.

While most divorces end up getting messy, mainly when it involves children, the pair has managed to co-parent peacefully with O'Neal saying:

"We're almost eight years into divorce so it was a rough first few years. Then at some point you have to be like what's the best thing for the kids period."

O'Neal has spoken about her show "Basketball Wives," and addressed the criticism it has faced saying that she was allowing the women on the show to be themselves.

She added that it was a platform to display themselves and tell the lives of basketball wives, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

O'Neal's relationship with her children is an important one and last year she revealed that her son Shareef had tattooed a selfie of his mother on himself.

The surprised mother shared a short clip of the tattoo and photo that it was based on, writing that she was speechless, while the 19-year-old responded writing that he loved her.
