Meghan Markle Celebrates 1st Anniversary of Her Clothing Line 'Smart Works' through Video Call
Meghan Markle recently celebrated her clothing line's first anniversary through an inspiring video call with women who benefited from the collection.
Meghan Markle's clothing line, Smart Work capsule, recently turned one, and she celebrated the milestone through a video call with three women who benefited from the collection.
Last year, Markle collaborated with the UK Charity and leading fashion brands such as John Lewis, Mark & Spencer, Jigsaw, and Misha Nanoo to create a five-piece collection made up of workwear essentials.
With this, the UK charity assisted unemployed women with interview training while also providing them with interview clothes. During the video call, each of the women recalled how Smart Works helped them prepare well for their interviews and how friendly the process had been.
The women also noted the most useful tips they received during their time with Smarts Works and how it helped them nail their interviews. Markle launched Smart Work last year shortly after the birth of her son, Archie.

At the time, she noted how much the project meant to her. While speaking at the launch of the collection, Markle said it was important for her to collaborate with organizations doing meaningful work while helping to amplify their impact.
Markle and Harry are also happy about having a serene and spacious environment for their son to grow up and play.
Although it has only been a year since the launch on Smarts Works, so much has happened for both the brand and Markle herself. Earlier this year, Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, stepped down from their royal duties and moved to Canada, where they resided before temporarily moving into Tyler Perry's home in Los Angeles.
A few months back, the couple made headlines when they moved into their new family home in Saint Barbara, California. While speaking, a source close to the couple explained that they both love the beautiful scenery, which is made up of mountains, valleys, and several flowers.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support.” - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex For more information, please visit sussexroyal.com (link in bio) Image © PA
In addition to living in a beautiful city, Markle and Harry are also happy about having a serene and spacious environment for their son to grow up and play. The house reportedly comes with a play structure that he will be able to use once he is older.
