Jada Pinkett Smith Says 3 Women Helped Her during Difficult Time in Her Marriage with Will Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith revealed on "Red Table Talk," that Salma Hayek, Pauletta Washington, and Ruby Dee helped her save her marriage to Will Smith.
Hollywood's power couple Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have always been open about their marital struggles. Recently, the actress made mention of three friends who helped during the difficult times.
The celebrity couple has been in the spotlight due to their recent marriage troubles which they made public, and on an episode of Jada’s series, “Red Table Talk,” a chat show which is broadcasted on Facebook Watch, Jada shed more light on the matter.

During the chat show, the actress expressed that the decision to make their struggles public was a unanimous one, which was also part of their healing journey as a couple.
In the presence of her husband Will, daughter Willow Smith and her mother Adrienne, Jada also disclosed that she wasn’t built for conventional marriage saying:
“Even the word ‘wife’: it’s a golden cage, swallow the key. Even before I was married, I was like, ‘That’ll kill me.’ And it damn near did!”
The superstar couple started dating back in 1995 and tied the knot in 1997, and in recent times, Jada revealed that while their marriage faced some of its most trying times, three celebrity friends helped her.
[On] "Red Table Talk," [Jada] affirmed that there was an involvement with August but she and her husband were separated at the time.
Jada said the three women, namely Salma Hayek, Pauletta Washington, and Ruby Dee, were candid with her, sharing their personal stories and struggles. Their honesty, in turn, helped her understand that the difficulties their marriage was experiencing were normal.
Jada and Will's 23-year marriage is a testament to how they've managed to weather every storm despite their relationship's ups and downs and separation.
While addressing the rumors of her alleged affair with R&B singer August Alsina on a heart-to-heart "Red Table Talk" discussion with Will, the actress affirmed that there was an involvement with August but she and her husband were separated at the time.
Will also expressed that he and his wife separated for a while and the essence of the separation was for both parties to figure out how they could make themselves happy as separate entities.
During the heart-to-heart chat with Will, Jada spoke about her relationship with August to her husband, saying she was in a lot of pain and she wanted to feel good.
Close to the end of the chat show, the actor boldly said he would get Jada back and the actress countered him saying she thinks he got her back already.
