It was revealed that Jeezy proposed to Mai on a Vietnamese-inspired date night at home.
It has been an eventful year for the stylist. In April, she announced her engagement to rapper and long time boyfriend Jeezy. The pair reportedly met in 2018 on the set of "The Real."
They started dating in November of 2018 but kept it under wraps. However, rumors began to fly after the pair were seen in a group photo on Malika Haqq's Instagram in January 2019.
The pair eventually made their first appearance together during a fundraiser for Jeezy's local non-profit called "Street Dreamz." Later, on her show, Mai opened up about the rapper and confirmed their relationship.
Fast forward to 2020 and the pair are happily engaged. It was revealed that Jeezy proposed to Mai on a Vietnamese inspired date night at home. The television personality excitedly posted photos from the date on her social media, much to the surprise of her fans.
Speaking of Vietnam, Mai has never failed to stay in touch with her roots. In 2016, the host revealed that embracing her Vietnamese-American heritage made her who she is.
She also never shies away from sharing this heritage with the world as she occasionally shows up for her TV show in her traditional attire. Her ancestry has continually been the star's source of pride over the years.
