Andy Cohen Shows Comparison Pic of Him as a Child Next to His Son Ben Revealing Their Likeness
The “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” star welcomed his son via surrogacy more than a year ago, and his baby has grown to be his mini-me, with the two frequently sharing twinning moments in social media.
52-year-old TV show host Andy Cohen became a proud father to Benjamin Allen Cohen back in February 2019, and as his 19-month-old son keeps growing, his resemblance to his famous father has become uncanny.
Giving how much Andy is devoted to his little boy, it is not surprising that “Ben” is all over Andy’s social media feed, where the two have starred on several “twinning moments.”

But more recently, Andy took to his Instagram account to post a picture of himself about Ben’s age next to another of Ben nowadays, and the two could easily be taken for the same person.
“Twinning with Ben” Andy captioned the post, on which both he and Ben are wearing sweaters with the popular cartoon character Snoopy printed on them. But beyond what they are pictured wearing, it is their smiles that makes them look so similar.
Andy’s celebrity friends were delighted with the images, and some of them took to the comments section of the post to leave loving messages to the father and son.
“Seeing double,” wrote the Instagram profile for “Today with Hoda & Jenna”. "Those genes are strong!! And cute :)” the star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Jackie Goldschneider, also wrote.
TOGETHER AGAIN
As inseparable as Andy and Ben are, the two recently had to spend a month apart after Andy tested positive for COVID-10, which forced him to quarantine away from his bundle of joy until he got better.
Fortunately, the lovely pair is back together, and Andy hasn’t wasted time to share more touching images of himself and his son in social media.
On September 18, 2020, Andy took to his Instagram account once again to share an image of himself and Ben standing barefoot on the sand at the beach, with Ben wearing a Snoopy T-shirt and Andy wearing a matching yellow ensemble.
A WITNESS TO SOCIAL CHANGE
During the course of his life as a gay man, Andy has experienced first hand how the LGBT community has managed to win spaces and to become normalized in mainstream society, and he has achieved things he never imagined as a child.
When Andy saw his dream of becoming a father early in 2019, he reflected on how as he grew up as a gay man he never thought that being a father was in the cards for him, and he celebrated the feeling that today “anything’s possible” for others like him.
Also, when Andy started hosting Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” in 2009, he made history as the first openly gay talk show host on late television, making an example for the entire entertainment business.
