Guy Fieri's Son Hunter Is Ready to Take His Father's Place as a Food Network Star — Meet Him

Guy Fieri is father to son Hunter who already appears on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives." He is undoubtedly ready to be a Food Network star with his enthusiasm for culinary art just like his dad.

Guy Fieri's son Hunter is a star in the making, and he is ready to replace his father as a renowned Food Network star.

In an Instagram post shared by Hunter last month, the father-son announced a competition for Guy's show, "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." The winner of the contest was promised a $1000 prize and a feature on the show.

During an interview, Hunter revealed that he works with his dad, whom he described as his best friend. This comes as no surprise as the duo share a lot in common.

Last December, Hunter graduated from the University of Nevada, his father's alma mater. There, he bagged a degree in hospitality and restaurant management.

Initially, Hunter was supposed to travel and work with some of Guy's friends that own restaurants. His plans were, however, put on hold following the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

Despite the change in plans, Hunter made the best of the situation. In May, he started appearing alongside his father on the Takeout edition of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," where he gave commentary while Guy had video calls with his fan-favorite chefs.

Hunter said that he always wanted to be on TV with his father but was camera shy as a kid. However, as an adult, he is more comfortable with the show.

Hunter's love for culinary is no surprise. As a child, his dad taught him how to use a knife, and at 5, he was already cutting onions.

A few years later, Guy told his son he would not make breakfast for him anymore, and with that, the young lad started his culinary journey.

Now, Hunter is ready to step into the family business and is expected to join his dad in October, for a new season of "Guy's Grocery Games."

On fans' perception of Hunter, many seem to have taken a liking to him and deem him a perfect successor for his famous father.

In addition to Hunter, Guy is also a father to son Ryder. He shares his two sons with his wife Lori, whom he married over two decades ago.

Lori is also to be a great cook, just like her husband. Without a doubt, theirs is a family characterized by excellent culinary skills, and Hunter's interest is definitely no surprise.
