Ant Anstead Wears His Wedding Ring in a New Post on Instagram Amid Divorce from Christina

On Friday, September 18, Christina Anstead shocked her fans when she announced her split from her husband, (Ant Anstead,) of nearly two years via her Instagram page.

Over the past week, the couple's split has been a major talking point within the entertainment circuit. However, Ant has remained silent and was noticeably absent on Instagram since the news first broke.

On Thursday, September 24, the British TV host finally shared his first Instagram post since it was announced that he and his wife were getting divorced after almost two years of marriage.

The "Wheeler Dealers" star shared a black-and-white photo of himself looking out the window of a vintage British car. Interestingly, he was still wearing his wedding ring. Ant captioned the photo writing:

"British cars, American TV, On set (old skool)."

Fans of the popular TV host should not be getting their hopes up about a possible reconciliation. The parenthetical "old skool" also seems to point to the picture being a throwback taken before the split.

Meanwhile, Ant is yet to speak about the divorce publicly, and his wife Christina has also been less active on social media since the shocking announcement.

Her recent divorce announcement comes barely a few months after Tarek proposed to Heather Rae Young.

She has posted just once to her Instagram page, sharing a montage of pictures from her daughter Taylor's 10th birthday celebrations. In one of the photos taken with her daughter, she is noticeably missing her wedding ring.

The news of the former couple's divorce left so many of their close friends in shock because nobody saw it coming. However, a source recently told E! News it was not an easy decision for Christina. The source explained:

"She never thought she was going to get a divorce so soon. She tried to give it more of a chance, but it became very clear that it wasn't going to work."

Despite their split, the couple is putting in their best to build a cordial relationship. On Tuesday, September 22, Ant commemorated his stepdaughter Taylor's 10th birthday with a sweet tribute.

Ant and Christina share son Hudson London, 1, together. He has also fathered two children, daughter, Amelie, 16, and son, Archie, 14, from his previous marriage while Christina shares Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 5, with her ex Tarek El Moussa.

Christina shares a cordial relationship with her ex-husband, and the two have developed an excellent co-parenting relationship. Her recent divorce announcement comes barely a few months after Tarek proposed to Heather Rae Young.
