Heather Locklear recently paid tribute to her daughter, Ava Elizbeth Sambora, on her 23rd birthday. The actress went all out as she serenaded her baby girl with sweet words.

In an Instagram post, the proud mom shared a candid shot of her daughter smiling. The picture, which was a tad blurry, saw Ava rocking her platinum blonde locs in a hairstyle that fell across her shoulders.

Locklear accompanied the snapshot with a caption where she described Ava as her favorite person. She concluded by gushing over how much she loves her baby girl. The heartwarming post garnered reactions from fans who flooded the comments section with birthday wishes for Ava. One user wrote:

The vintage top held extra meaning for Sambora, whose dad is a famous guitarist, Richie Sambora. He played with the legendary rock band Jon Bovi for thirty years. Locklear and Richie were married for thirteen years between 1994 and 2007. They welcomed Ava, their only child together, in 1997.

Imitating her mom's style is not the only thing the youngster has been up to recently. In May, Ava graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and Locklear could barely contain her pride.
