LeBron James Bought Katharine Hepburn's Former Mansion for $36.8 Million — Take a Peek Inside
The basketball star added another property to his estate. The mansion he chose this time is not only beautiful, but it was the residence of some famous stars of the last century.
LeBron James, 35, is an NBA superstar and his numbers this season confirm it. And like a true superstar, he does not stop when it comes to choosing the investments he will make. At this point, the news is that he decided to buy the beautiful mansion where Katharine Hepburn once lived.
It is a property built in the 1930s which for several years belonged to the millionaire businessman Howard Hughes. It was during those years that the glamorous and unforgettable Hepburn made the mansion her home.

The property that went on sale for $ 39 million and that the player managed to buy for a lower price was completely remodeled and restored to the splendor it had in the golden years of Hollywood.
The sprawling property not only has a fabulous view of L.A., but the sight of the Pacific Ocean can also be enjoyed in the distance. It has 4 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, various lounges, four fireplaces, luxury finishes, a projection room, and a library. You can't miss the pool and guest cabins.
BEAUTIFUL AND WELL LOCATED
On the extensive grounds of the property, there are numerous mature trees such as cypress and palm trees. It also has a tennis court and pool facilities. Equally impressive is the entrance via a long tree-lined path that ends at a fountain in front of the house.
The previous owners, Lee Phillip Bell and her husband completed the latest remodeling of the property and landscaping of the grounds. With the death of Mrs. Bell in March of this year, the property went up for sale for the first time in decades.
PANDEMIC ARRANGEMENTS
During this unusual basketball ball season, James has had an excellent performance on the court. In a recent interview, he commented that his plan is secret but that it includes working hard and daily on his body.
He added that his wife Savannah is not enjoying being in the "bubble" of the NBA, one of the provisions to avoid contagion among players and families.
The three children of the couple did not accompany them because according to their father, they have nothing to do in the bubble.
The couple has been together since their high school years when they attended rival schools in their Ohio hometown. During their first date, they went to a steakhouse and James is very proud that his wife has been with him since he was an unknown gamer.
SOLID AND UNITED FAMILY
The player popped the question in 2011 and they got married in front of 200 friends and family in 2013. Their first child together, Lebron Jr., was born in 2004. They welcomed their second child, Bryce Maximus, in 2007.
In 2014, the couple had their first and only daughter, Zhuri. James agrees that his wife is the boss when it comes to raising their children, as he spends a lot of time away from home.
You have to agree that whatever James is doing is paying off for the team. Despite the limitations and problems with players infected with COVID-19, this season has been very good for the Lakers.
