Famous actress Erin Krakow recently took to social media to reassure fans of the ongoing drama series, "When Calls the Heart," that there will most certainly be romance in season 8.

"When Calls the Heart" star Erin Krakow, recently took to Twitter to guarantee that there will definitely be romance in the series's eighth season. Her statement on Twitter read:

"Oh, I don't plan to share any details right NOW. Just wanted to assure you all that there will be romance in S8. Trust me."

In the comments section, fans who believed her words immediately started casting their opinions on who they thought would get involved in the romance. One fan stated,

"I can see Elizabeth and Lucas sharing a lot of romance in season 8, more than they did in season 7! Bring on that romance!"

"When Calls the Heart" is a TV series based on a book series titled "Canadian West." Janette Oke wrote the book series, and the first novel in it is titled, "When Calls the Heart."

The series follows the life of young Elizabeth Thatcher, a teacher used to high society who does all she can to survive and thrive on the frontier. Elizabeth is in a love triangle with two men, Nathan and Lucas.

While many fans of the series are leaning towards Elizabeth picking Lucas as her lover, others are entirely convinced that she will pick Nathan. The possibility of Elizabeth picking Nathan became greater with her actions towards him in the season finale.

She had given him a full hug after thinking for some time that he had met his demise. For some fans, the hug is proof that her heart belongs to Nathan; however, some have brushed it off as a merely compassionate moment.

The eighth season of "When Calls the Heart" has been scheduled to premiere in the early months of 2021, provided the novel coronavirus pandemic does not hinder it.

In July, Krakow told ET that despite the shutdown of productions, "When Calls the Heart" has remained on track, and as far as she knows, the eighth season will undoubtedly be released early 2021.

She expressed happiness that the shooting had begun. The beautiful actress stated that she had missed her job and her cast members. They are said to be as close-knit as a family, a sentiment that makes itself known in the natural ease with which they function together on the set.
