During an interview with People Magazine, Bridges gushed over his relationship with his wife and confessed that it was love at first sight for him. However, that isn't all that sustained them for this long. Sharing the secret to their long-lasting union, the 70-year-old said:
We are quite different as people, and we celebrate that rather than making it drive us apart. I respect her wisdom, and I'm sure the girls do too. I've really been blessed."
Geston and Bridges met in 1974 while he was filming the 1975 hit film, "Rancho Deluxe" in Montana. At the time, Geston was working as a waitress in Paradise Valley.
Last year November, the lovebirds made headlines when they sold their 3,517-square-foot ranch in Montecito to media mogul Oprah Winfrey for $6.85 million.

The project is about a father-daughter duo who go on a series of adventures in their home to commemorate the Daddy-Daughter Day holiday. The pair end up turning their backyard into different scenarios like a circus, a beauty parlor, and a clay workshop.
The lovely book takes inspiration from the tight bond Isabelle shares with her father. The hardcover version was scheduled for release on October 7 ahead of National Father-Daughter Day.
Away from the family front, Bridges has done exceptionally well as an actor with an array of movies that have garnered critical acclaim, including an Academy Award for Best Actor.
