'Sister, Sister' Stars Tia & Tamera Mowry Look Adorable with Braids in Lovely Childhood Photo

Tamera Mowry-Housley shared a throwback image of herself and her twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict and they looked adorable as they beamed at the camera.

A picture indeed speaks a thousand words. That moment forever frozen in time allows for one to look back and smile at specific memories, much like Tamera Mowry-Housley did when she shared a sweet memory from her childhood days.

Taking to Instagram, Tamera shared a picture of herself and her sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict from their younger years and the image was an adorable shot of both sisters beaming for the camera.

In the shared image, both Tia and Tamera wore the same outfit and had their hair packed and braided in the same way. The dress was a sleeveless white gown with flowery designs on the chest region.

The twins were holding hands and looked to be cutting a cake that was slightly out of frame. While one of them had a big grin that showed her missing tooth, the other had a cheeky tight-lipped smile. Captioning the image, Tamera wrote:

"#TBT Sissy remember this day??? I Love you to the moon and back. #throwback #sisters."

Following the post were a plethora of comments from fans and lovers of the Mowry twins. Many people tried to guess who was Tia and who was Tamera as they both had an uncanny resemblance in the shared image.

Some guessed that Tia was the one on the right while Tamera was on the left based on the shape of their faces, but it was a tough decision as most people argued back and forth.

Tia and Tamera have not seen each other physically in six months.

One other thing fans noticed was the resemblance between the sisters and their children. Some expressed that they could see the faces of Tia and Tamera's children starring back at them. One fan said:

"I see Aden, Ariah, Cree & Cairo in both of you... sister sister gave birth to cousins cousins ❤️."

Interestingly, in an interview with People a few months back, Tia opened up that her two-year-old daughter Cairo often mistook Tamera as her mother. She revealed that the toddler often made the mistake of calling Tamera "Mama."

From birth, Tia and Tamera have been close. Aside from sharing the same space before being born, the sisters have maintained their bond over the years and have always supported one another through the various life stages they have had to encounter.

Sadly, Tia and Tamera have not seen each other physically in six months since the lockdown began in March. Although they have used all digital means of communication, the sisters still miss each other's physical presence.

While apart, Tia and Tamera always make time to chat about how their days went and the new developments concerning their kids. For them, they have a lifetime best friend in each other.
