See Ashley Tisdale and Her Husband Christopher French's Gender Reveal for Their First Baby

Actress Ashley Tisdale is the latest celebrity to take part in a gender reveal event. The star and her music composer husband, Christopher French, are expecting their very first child together.

In September 2020, Ashley Tisdale, 35, announced that she was pregnant with her first child. She took to Instagram, at the time, to share images of her baby bump alongside her husband, Christopher French.

In one of the pictures, French was photographed while standing behind his wife as they both gazed lovingly at her growing belly. This month, the “High School Musical” actress revealed her baby’s gender.

THE GENDER REVEAL

Taking to Instagram again, Tisdale posted four photos of herself and French. In the images, the couple gradually cut into a white cake to reveal their child’s gender depending on what color was inside the confectionary.

Tisdale and French started dating in 2012, before the music composer proposed marriage to her.

The actress's face told the story of their surprise as her eyes and mouth became wider as she saw what gender she was expecting. The color came out as pink or red which meant the child would be a baby girl.

2020 HAS BEEN HARD

In the caption of Tisdale’s post, she noted how hard the year has been for many people. She shared how the year had consisted of many ups and downs and that it had been an emotional roller coaster, before adding:

“I think this day was by far my favorite day EVER! I cried I was so happy.”

A NOTE ABOUT GENDER REVEALS

The actress also revealed that “going above and beyond for gender reveal parties” wasn’t that necessary. Noting the recent California wildfire that was caused by a couple who had a firework gender reveal party, Tisdale asserted how cutting into a cake for the reveal was as satisfying.

She also noted how a cake reveal was also much safer than fireworks. The “Sons of Anarchy” and “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” star and her husband have been married for six years this year.

TISDALE OWNS A COMPANY

Besides working as an actress, Tisdale also has her own production company called, Blondie Girl Productions. She runs the company alongside her sister, Jennifer, with the two producing television shows and also digital programming with stories for and by millennial women.

Her company has produced “Daphne & Velma,” among other shows. She also serves as an executive producer on the Freeform series, “Young & Hungry,” and on Bravo's show, “Miss Advised.”

HER FIRST PRODUCING GIG & 1ST TRIMESTER

The star’s first producing credit occurred when she was a co-executive producer on the 2007 short film, “There's Something About Ashley: The Story of Headstrong.” Last month, the actress revealed on her blog, Frenshe, how her first trimester was treating her.

The star revealed that she felt like she had the stomach flu for the whole three months. Despite going through several highs and lows during this trying and difficult period, the star still felt grateful for this gift.

WHEN DID THEY START DATING

Tisdale and French started dating in 2012, before the music composer proposed marriage to her. He proposed to her quite quickly as the two had only been together for less than a year when the engagement happened.

The couple has actually worked together before in the sitcom “Young & Hungry.” French was the one who created the theme music for the show and he’s also done some work for other movies and more.
