The Pistol Annies’ singer’s husband and former law enforcer finally has his own public Instagram account, and his famous wife is delighted to see how proud he is of being beside her.

29-year-old Brendan McLoughlin was just another New York City policeman before he abruptly entered into the spotlight with his surprising marriage to 36-year-old country music star Miranda Lambert in February 2019.

McLoughlin continued serving as an active law officer for a few months after his wedding with Lambert, but he has since retired from the force, with early reports claiming he went on to become part of his wife’s security team.

Now, after nearly two years of marriage with Lambert, McLoughlin made his Instagram debut on October 16, 2020, and so far he has only shared five posts on his feed, including some images of his famous wife.

McLoughlin’s third post, made on October 18, consisted of a beautiful snapshot of himself and Lambert posing together by a wooden fence in front of a garden, with the couple wearing colorful, matching outfits.

As caption to the husband-and-wife portrait, McLoughlin only added a red heart emoji, but the smile the couple display in the picture, is enough to convey the beauty of domestic bliss.

The post certainly prompted a reaction from McLoughlin’s celebrity wife, Lambert, who took to the comments section of the post to write, “you’re cute,” to the much excitement of social media users that went on to gush about the couple.

On another post, this time a short clip, McLoughlin can be seen lying on a hammock alongside Lambert as the two try to keep a serious face, teasing about a #videodebut in the post’s caption.

This could imply that McLoughlin is making his first moves into show business, or maybe fashion, and if that is the case, he would be following the path of several other spouses of country music stars who have successfully monetized their platforms, capitalizing on their partner’s fame.

As Taste of Country noticed, McLoughlin started off following only two profiles on Instagram, one being his wife, and the other being digital marketing manager Laura Spinelli, who has previously worked on Lambert’s media image.

Even though he only has his own profile recently, McLoughlin is in no way a stranger to social media, since he is featured heavily on his wife’s Instagram profile, where she is not shy about gushing on his handsome looks.

On October 8, 2020, Lambert took to her feed to share a slideshow that included both videos and photos on which she and her husband can be seen having fun at the farm as they pack hay, with McLoughlin appearing shirtless.

The location of these photos and videos is no other than Lambert’s 400-acre estate in Tennessee, where the couple has lived together since tying the knot in secret in 2019, in what is Lambert’s second marriage (she was previously married to fellow country singer Blake Shelton).
