With Halloween only a week and some days away, “Today” host Savannah Guthrie’s two children, Vale and Charles, are already putting in the work to make the holiday every bit scary and fun.

Yesterday, the journalist took to Instagram to show off the decorations her kids made as they anticipate the spooky holiday. Staying true to the scary nature of the holiday, the kids put in their all as they made drawings on white A-4 papers.

The first slide was a drawing of a stick man with a carved pumpkin and the words “Happy Halloween.” Next was a pencil sketch of a girl looking scared underneath a tree followed by a writing of the phrase “hoo” and “boo” with several exclamation marks.

The lovely kids concluded their decor with a photo of what looked like a bat perched on a tree branch. Doting mother Guthrie was proud of her kids’ handiwork and reflected it in the accompanying caption, which read:

“Haven’t gotten around to hanging Halloween decorations, so my kids did it for me.”

Fans wasted no time to gush over the adorable children, calling the drawings cute with special mention of the bat drawn. Many commended Guthrie for raising talented kids.

Guthrie’s kids are in the business of bringing joy to the world with the antics. The adorable post comes weeks after Guthrie showed her followers a positive message her 6-year-old daughter left on her mother’s laptop after finishing homework.

The sweet little girl left an affirmative message that read, “I love people, and people love me,” which she typed haiku-style. Guthrie was so proud of her girl and wrote in the caption how the touching message was an inspiration for her.

She urged her followers to go through life thinking so purely and concluded, begging her daughter never to lose her spirit. When the bundles of joy aren’t warming up the timeline, they steal the spotlight, and such was the case in August when they joined their mom on the show on Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

The 48-year-old was filming from home, with 3-year-old Charley showing up first before Vale completed the trio. Guthrie shares her kids with husband Michael Feldman, and the couple has had their hands busy attending to their kids and working from home during the quarantine.

Luckily, they have been able to navigate the difficult time by splitting home duties equally between each other. The lovebirds, who tied the knot in 2014, also spoke to their kids about the pandemic's unconventional nature, letting them know what was happening in the world.
