The source went on to say that the former "Suits" actress, who is the first person to hold the title Duchess of Sussex, is eager to be spending her first Christmas at their new home in Santa Barbara.

Prior to their move, the royal family lives in Los Angeles. Harry and Markle's move to North America came after they stepped back from their responsibilities as part of Her Majesty's family back in January.

Before hopping around California and settling down in Santa Barbara, Harry and Markle reportedly moved from the United Kingdom to Vancouver, Canada.

The prince added that he thinks they had an amazing time together.

Earlier this month, Vanity Fair reported that wherever Queen Elizabeth II spends the annual festival, the 94-year-old monarch will not be joined by Harry and his family.

Harry, the 6th in the line of succession to the British throne, reportedly told his companions that they are not prepared to return to the United Kingdom in December.

A source explained that at this stage, Harry, Markle, and Archie are truly making the most of their new life in California. The family is also enjoying their new home, the source added.

Meanwhile, on December 27, 2017, Harry was interviewed as part of his BBC Radio 4's Today program's guest editorship. During the interview, the prince revealed that his royal Christmas with Markle was "fantastic."

According to Harry, his then-fiancée really enjoyed the royal Christmas and that his family loved having her there. The prince added that he thinks they had an amazing time together.

Last Christmas, Archie had made his first appearance on Harry and Markle's annual Christmas card. The black and white picture shows the royal tot crawling towards the camera.
