Hilary Duff and Husband Matthew Koma Expecting Their Second Child
Singer Hilary Duff and husband Matthew Koma are on cloud nine as they have recently announced they're expecting their second child, two years after welcoming daughter Banks Violet.
On Saturday, the happy couple took to each of their official Instagram accounts to share the fantastic news with all of their fans through a very special video.
In the short clip, Duff can be seen showing off her baby bump while being embraced by Koma as he gently rubs her belly. She also wrote: "We are growing! Mostly me."

A VERY HAPPY FATHER
Koma, a fellow singer and songwriter, was quite cheeky regarding the announcement, sharing the same video with the caption "Lol quarantine was fun."
As aforementioned, this will be the couple's second child, but Duff also has an eight-year-old son named Luca Cruz from her previous relationship with ex-husband and hockey player Mike Comrie.
PREPARING FOR THE NEW ADDITION
So far it isn't known how Lucas reacted to the fact that he will have a second younger sibling. According to his mother, he wasn't quite fond of having a little sister back in 2018.
Duff and Koma tied the knot last year in Los Angeles.
Duff recalled that it took the young boy some time to get used to the idea of sharing his mother's love. During an interview with PureWow, she revealed how sad he was about the news:
"It was just he and I for so long that he was like, ‘Why? Why, Mom? Why would you do this? I really just love the way it is.' And it wasn’t bratty, it was just so sad.”
EXPECTING DURING THE PANDEMIC
Back in July, Duff also addressed whether she and her husband were planning on having more children in the future, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. She said:
"We're obsessed with our kids and we're like, 'Should we do one more? Is this a good time? It's tough because everything is so uncertain. Like, is it safe to have a baby right now? We don't know."
Duff and Koma tied the knot last year in Los Angeles and shared the sweet moment with the world through a photo in which they can be seen posing in front of a jeep with "Just Married" written on the window.
