Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr's relationship hit the rocks almost a year after the famous couple got engaged following a lavish proposal by the basketball star.

"I am no longer engaged to Lamar. This has been a difficult decision for me to make...Lamar has somethings that he alone has to work through."

The fitness instructor further explained that she "loves" her ex-lover, but that it is high time she left him to get the help he "desperately needs." In the same post, Odom's ex-fiancee requested her followers to pray on behalf of everyone involved.

This is not the first time Odom's seemingly perfect love story headed for the rocks.

Though the basketball champion battled with drug addiction a few years ago, it is not certain what demons he is fighting at the moment. His camp has decided to stay mute as they have not commented on the issue.

The news of the couple's split shocked their fans who were expecting them to tie the knot in November 2021. The pair seemed like a match made in heaven, and Odom did not hide the fact that he found happiness in Parr.
