In the caption of the post, she simply wrote: “My everything!” A month after Smirnoff’s son was born, an “ET” source revealed how the new parent was doing amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease, stating:

"[Smirnoff is] safe, healthy and completely in love with her baby boy."

The insider also claimed that the former DWTS star was feeling blessed and was happy to be a mother. The professional ballroom dancer was said to be quarantining at home and just enjoying her time with Theo.

In May 2020, Smirnoff, 42, was interviewed by “ET” about what it was like for her to celebrate her first Mother's Day while in quarantine. The dancer confessed that being a mother during the holiday was a special thing for her.

She shared how she’d love to spend the day with her son and joked that maybe she could have a celebratory cocktail by the pool. Noting how the pandemic was a scary time for the world, the star shared how it had also afforded her time with her son.

Karina Smirnoff confessed that she’d struggle with how to hold the newborn baby.

Smirnoff also shared that if everything had been open and operating as per usual, she wouldn’t have been able to spend so much time with Theo. She confessed that she’d found joy and peace being home with the new man in her life.

In the same month, she spoke to “Us Weekly” where she admitted her fears about looking after children. She revealed to the publication that she loved babies but freaked out when her friends would ask her to hold their newborn children.

The DWTS star confessed that she’d struggle with how to hold the newborn baby. She shared how she anticipated her child’s birth and panicked about not being able to change his diaper.

Smirnoff noted how people tried to calm her down by informing her that her instincts would kick in when the time came. Needing some help with the child, the dancer spent her quarantine living with her parents.

The star confessed that living with her parents as an adult was challenging. However, she shared her gratitude and love for them for how helpful they’ve been to her and acknowledged that she wouldn’t have been able to look after Theo without their assistance.
