Meet Canadian Pop Singer and Songwriter Ruth B — Glimpse inside Her Career and Personal Life

With several posts on her Instagram feed, Canadian pop singer and songwriter Ruth B has continued to give her fans a detailed view of her career and personal life over the years.

Ruth Berhe, popularly known by her stage name, Ruth B, continues to give her fans and followers updates on her life and experiences through multiple posts on her social media.

Though she has kept a relatively low profile over the years, she has let out bits and pieces of information about herself, thanks to her more public online presence.

In July, to commemorate her 25th birthday, the singer posted gorgeous photos of herself on her Instagram feed. In the snapshots, she was clad in a stunning thin-strapped maroon mini-dress and black heels. She struck a beautiful figure as she posed in an open field.

During her parent's 25th wedding anniversary last year, she shared several sweet photos of the love birds. They were seen posing aboard a ship with the sun reflecting on their beautiful happy faces and the vast sea serving as a backdrop.

Berhe has also given her followers glimpses of her love life. She has posted several photos of her and her heartthrob sharing sweet moments. In one of the more recent pictures, the pair were seen beautifully dressed for an outing.

She was clad in a lovely red crop top that showed off her trim figure and a pair of denim jeans with white sneakers. Her beau had on a matching red long sleeve shirt, darker jeans, and white sneakers. They both posed to take a mirror shot with nose masks in hand.

When asked about the time she realized she was going to sing for a living, Berhe revealed that it was after she started posting music on Vine.

Besides being known for her wholesome social media posts, the singer has racked for herself much acclaim in the music industry. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, she started her career with songs on Vine in 2013.

She jettisoned into the limelight after releasing her first single titled "Lost Boy" in 2015. The song was well-received, and her fast-paced popularity drew the attention of record labels. In July 2015, she got signed to Columbia Records.

After releasing her first album titled "Safe Haven" in 2017, the singer won as the Breakout Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards. She was also nominated for several categories in 2018 — including artist of the year.

When asked about the time she realized she was going to sing for a living, Berhe revealed that it was after she started posting music on Vine. She added that all the support she received from her followers inspired her to pursue a music career.

The singer continued to wow her fans over the years, and in September this year, she put out another lovely track titled "Dirty Nikes." In answering why she released the song, she revealed that it did the best job of capturing her evolution and how she had grown.

Due to the pandemic, she spent the lockdown in her hometown Edmonton, and that was where the video for the new-release was shot. It is safe to say that Berhe was given another chance to really connect her with her music through her roots.
