Jennifer Hudson's Ex-fiancé David Otunga and Son's Fitness Game Is Strong — Watch Their Gym Video
Jennifer Hudson’s ex-fiancé, David Otunga, shared a new video featuring himself and the couple’s 11-year-old son flashing adorable smiles at each other, and fans could not stop gushing.
If there is one thing former wrestler David Otunga loves, it is spending time with his and Jennifer Hudson’s 11-year-old son, David Jr. Once again, the proud dad is giving fans a glimpse into one of their father-son moments.
Taking to Instagram, Otunga shared a clip of himself and David Jr. at the gym. The former wrestler explained that his son was having a virtual gym class via his iPad and was putting in the effort.

Otunga continued by asking his son what they were doing. In response, David Jr. said they had a remote class, and this was followed by a sweet moment that saw the two smiling at each other.
The adorable clip was accompanied by a caption where Otunga reiterated the things he said in the video. The proud father wrote:
“The cool thing about #remotelearning is that it’s 'remote!' David brings his iPad and has gym class at an actual gym!”
He concluded by praising David Jr. for working harder than expected and added that sometimes he could not keep up with his son’s energy. Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers flocked to the comments section to leave their thoughts about the adorable clip.
Otunga and Hudson’s separation was followed by a tumultuous child custody battle.
While some fans gushed over how impressive David Jr. was, others described Otunga as a great father who always spent time with his little boy.
Otunga shares David Jr. with his ex-fiancée, singer Hudson, with whom he was in a relationship for nearly ten years. The couple welcomed their son in 2009, nearly a year after getting engaged.
While speaking about his relationship with Hudson in 2012, Otunga reportedly explained that they were introduced by a mutual friend who thought they would be good together.
Less than a year after their first date, Otunga proposed to Hudson with a Neil Lane ring on September 12, 2008, which doubled as her 27th birthday.
A few months after the couple’s engagement, Hudson pulled a surprise proposal to Otunga on his birthday in April 2009. Just like her fiancé, the singer opted for a 5-carat ring designed by Neil Lane.
However, the couple never got around to walking down the aisle, and by 2017, Hudson announced that she and Otunga had separated.
Otunga and Hudson’s separation was followed by a tumultuous child custody battle before finally reaching an agreement. Currently, the duo maintains an amicable co-parenting relationship as they focus on raising their adorable little boy.
