Football icon David Beckham says revenge will be sweet as he lightly vowed payback time to his longtime spouse, Victoria, after she poked fun at him on social media.

Former Spice Girls" star Victoria Beckham seems to have started a naughty competition with her star spouse, David Beckham, following the recently concluded British Remembrance Day.

On her Instagram story, Victoria shared a picture collage of her spouse wearing a suit paired with brown pants and oversized Wellington boots, and a photo of Monsieur Gaston, the villain from "Beauty and the Beast."

In the image, David's large boots looked similar to those Monsieur Gaston sported in the animation. Victoria,46, chipped in a witty caption as she hilariously addressed her spouse:

"Gaston wants his boots back @davidbeckham."

Replying to her joke, the Inter Miami CF boss also took to his story to repost his wife's story. He made it known that "revenge would be sweet" as he jovially shared that the fashion designer decided to post him without cropping out his last-minute boots or asking for permission.
