DWTS Fans React to Tyra Banks' Jennifer Lopez-Inspired Dress during Icons Night

"Dancing With The Stars" host Tyra Banks adorned a Jennifer-Lopez inspired dress on Monday night's show, generating divided opinions among many fans who commented on her outfit.

If there is one thing evident enough from the 29th season of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," it is that fans cannot stop talking about show host Tyra Banks.

Since her announcement as the show's host, replacing Tom Bergeron, fans of the show have continually scrutinized her every move from how she presents to her outfits on the show.

The latter was the theme for fans after Monday night's Icon episode when Banks stunned in a Versace dress, paying homage to singer Jennifer Lopez with her outfit.

The official Twitter page of "DWTS" also paid homage to their beautiful host by sharing a picture of her clad in the dress along with a caption that read:

"It's a ? from us! ? Reply below with some of your favorite icons? #IconsNight #DWTS."

Fans duly responded and the nature of their responses showed they were divided on Banks' outfit. One fan said they liked Tyra in her Jennifer Lopez-inspired dress, adding that it was her best look yet.

The negative comments from a section of fans about Banks' dress following the Icons Night show followed the theme from last week.

A second fan noted that with her Icons Night outfit, Banks had finally worn a fabulous dress that was not oversized but made her look awesome. A third person described the Versace dress as the best outfit Banks has worn in the entire season of DWTS.

However, not everyone was pleased with Banks and her outfit. One fan compared her look to Lopez's actual look and said the host looked like a nightmare version of the singer.

Another fan who seemed embittered said they would love it if Banks never disrespects Lopez like that again. Meanwhile, another fan loved the dress but did not like the way Banks carried herself and wrote:

"I like Tyra's dress but she's not pulling off any Jlo vibes #DWTS."

Before stepping out for the Icons Night show in the Versace dress, Banks teased that she would be in an iconic green outfit on her Instagram page. She also shared a picture of herself in the big, yellow two-layered dress she wore for last week's episode.

In the caption to the post, Banks revealed she would wear green for the night and pay homage to an acting and music icon before asking her fans who they think she would dress up as.
