Gabrielle Union’s daughter Kaavia was not afraid to express her emotions in recent pics posted on Instagram. The toddler was not pleased with the results of a face-painting exercise that she took part in.

Kaavia James Union Wade looked entirely unapproving after being shown what she looked like in the mirror. The toddler had her face painted into a furry animal with a black and yellow nose and cat-like whiskers.

In a photo posted on her Instagram page, the toddler was calm while a woman painted her face. She wore a white top with blue polka dots and striped baby blue pants and a cute blue bow on her head.

Union also posted photos of her daughter on her own Instagram page. This time it was clear that Kaavia was not at all impressed with the paint job.

Lucky for fans, Union has a great sense of humor and captioned both photos with hilarious comments showing what Kaavia may be thinking. One pic was jokingly captioned:

“I think I need to be more specific when I ask for more contour. Blend gurl blend! @fentybeauty what's good?”

Kaavia just turned two years old on November 7 and her parents couldn't be happier to have her in their lives. They celebrated her in the most heartfelt of ways.

Union and her retired NBA player husband, Dwyane Wade, both dedicated sweet tributes to their daughter, who was born via surrogate in 2018.

Union posted a slideshow of baby Kaavia, showing precious memories from the time the cutie was born up to present day and she said her baby was the “light of [their] lives.”

Wade’s tribute was equally thoughtful. The ex Miami Heat player posted a series of photos of the baby girl and he also mentioned that the day was extra special because it is also his mother’s birthday.

At just two years old, Kaavia already has a book inspired by her life. The children's book, written by Union, is called “Welcome To The Party.”

The shady baby apparently enjoys looking at the back of the book which features a photo of her face. Union joked that Kaavia’s love for attention made her a perfect fit for Hollywood at such a tender age.

Kaavia is already on the fast track to stardom based on her cuteness. The sweet toddler recently dressed as a marshmallow as part of her family’s Halloween costume.

The Wades dressed as s’mores. Union was the Hershey chocolate bar, while Wade and Kaavia’s aunt, Tracy Union were the graham crackers. The family costumes were a hit.
