Grammy Award-winning singer Usher is one proud father and showed this much when he was beaming during his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday.

The singer smiled so much because he was speaking about Sovereign, his newborn daughter, who was born six weeks ago.

During his virtual appearance on DeGeneres' famous show, Usher, for the first time since Sovereign's birth, shared a picture of the adorable baby, introducing her to the world.

While the audience cheered, DeGeneres said baby Sovereign looked like a porcelain doll and did not look real, referencing the newborn's incredible cuteness. In response to the television personality's remark, Usher said:

Usher also shared the picture on his Instagram Story and feed. It showed the proud father kissing his baby daughter on her forehead while she slept peacefully, wrapped in pink swaddling clothes.

Sovereign also wore a pink headband. In his caption to the post, Usher revealed he thought his baby girl would arrive on November 11.

His reason for keeping things private may be connected with the media publicity that trailed his previous relationships.

While speaking with DeGeneres, Usher explained how Sovereign arrived earlier than expected, saying she was scheduled to be a Scorpio but decided she had a different plan.

Usher is known to keep his private life out of the spotlight and has done a good job keeping his older children away from the public.

Before welcoming Sovereign, the "Confessions" crooner was already a father to two sons, Usher "Cinco" Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, whom he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

His reason for keeping things private may be connected with the media publicity that trailed his previous relationships, divorce, and custody proceedings with Foster.

However, his sons joined him at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in September 2016, showing how much they had grown up. Usher's fans will hope the picture he shared of the newborn will be the first of many.
