Recently, Martin Lawrence's daughters enjoyed a fun get-together with his ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs for a special occasion. The girls decided to hang out with Gibbs to celebrate her 45th birthday together.

Grateful for how fun the day turned out to be, Gibbs took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with Iyanna, Amara, and Jasmine. All of them looked great as they enjoyed a nice dinner at Crustacean Beverly Hills.

A DAY FULL OF LOVE

In the caption, she gushed about how beautiful her birthday was. It seems like her loved ones spoiled and made her feel loved all day, something that she was pretty happy about.

In a separate post, Gibbs shared a video of Amara singing a birthday song to her in an angelic voice. As she sang, the proud mother looked on with all the love in the world.

The comment section was buzzing with well-wishes and birthday notes from her fans, friends, and loved ones. In another post, Gibbs thanked her fans for their birthday wishes. Even though it was a COVID birthday, the mother-of-two ended up having a pretty special one.

Lawrence would always remind the girls that they are lucky to have the life they do.

SHAMICKA'S MARRIAGE TO MARTIN

Gibbs shot to fame when she married the "Big Momma's House" star. The duo got married in 2010 but they could not make it work and decided to go their separate ways in 2012.

Prior to tying the knot, Gibbs and Lawrence had been together for 15 years. After splitting up, they decided to remain friends and raise their two daughters together without prejudice.

A GIRL DAD

The "Martin" star was previously married to Patricia Southall. They parted ways in 1997 after two years of marital bliss. Jasmine, Lawrence's first child, was born out of their union.

Amara and Iyanna are his daughters from Gibbs. Lawrence is a doting father to all of his children and he raised them with good values and in a humble way, even though he was a pretty successful Hollywood star.

MARTIN RAISED THEM TO BE HUMBLE

Lawrence would always remind the girls that they are lucky to have the life they do. He would tell them that he did not have the things that they had while growing up. He would not give them money unless they did something that they were supposed to do.

Parenthood is never easy, but he has been lucky enough to have good daughters who listen to him. The actor has raised three fine daughters and it shows! He certainly seems like a great father.
