The sitting judge declined Spear's request to suspend Jamie's conservatorship.
A source revealed Spears and Asghari embarked on the trip to Hawaii early last week and returned home to Los Angeles on Sunday.
An onlooker revealed on Saturday night that the couple enjoyed an oceanside dinner in Lahaina town. The venue for dinner was the romantic Merriman's Kapalua restaurant at the Kapalua Resort.
According to the onlooker, the singer wore Daisy Duke shorts and a half top and looked to be enjoying herself and having a nice dinner.
Spears and Asghari's trip to Hawaii came a week after her attorney, Samuel Ingham, represented her in court for a conservatorship hearing on November 10.
Spears went to court seeking to suspend her father, Jamie, from his role in her conservatorship. That role has allowed him to control various parts of the singer's career and personal life for 12 years.
At the hearing on November 10, the sitting judge declined Spear's request to suspend Jamie's conservatorship. However, the judge said she would consider future petitions for his suspension or removal.
Spears' conservatorship dates back to 2008 and has seen many of her longtime fans demand her freedom over the years, with the hashtag #FreeBritney trending at different times on social media.
With the judge declining to suspend the singer's father from his role in her conservatorship, Spears' die-hard fans will wait to see her next move. For now, it is celebration time for her as she gets ready to welcome 39.
