Mike Epps' Daughter Gushes over How Cool She Thinks Her Dad Is in Tribute on His 50th Birthday
Mike Epps recently celebrated his 50th birthday, and his daughter Bria Epps had the sweetest message for her dad. The beauty also shared some sweet throwback photos of the actor.
Mike Epps just celebrated a huge milestone. The comedy king turned 50 years old on November 18 and his oldest daughter Bria Epps made sure he felt the love on his special day.
Bria showed her father so much love and appreciation with a touching message on her Instagram page. She went a step further and shared a rare throwback with her father.

Bria shared a photo of herself leaning on a kitchen counter. Her father, Mike, stood next to her, with one arm wrapped around her. Bria looked like her father's twin as they stood side-by-side. The post was captioned:
"Happy 50th Birthday to the coolest dad a girl can have! ❤️ I love you for all that you are! I’m so proud to be your daughter."
Bria also took fans down memory lane with an old snap of her dad. In the photo, a twenty-something Mike could be seen excitedly holding baby Bria in one arm and a Barney stuffed animal in the other.
When she called him to confront him, he threatened to beat her.
The cute pic appeared to have been taken over the Christmas holidays as the duo were pictured in front of a festively decorated Christmas tree. Bria added a message to the post gushing over her dad and calling him her hero.

Although Bria and her father are very close now, that was not always the case when she was younger. Back in 2012, Bria filed a police report against the "Friday" actor, accusing him of threatening her.
According to TMZ, the dispute began when Mike appeared on "The Wendy Williams Show" and neglected to mention his older daughters. Bria said when she called him to confront him, he threatened to beat her.
Mike, who now has five daughters and a granddaughter, seems to have been unlucky with some of the women in his life. In 2016, he filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Mechelle Epps, with whom he shares two daughters, Madison and Mariah.
News of the divorce came just six months after Mechelle publicly exposed "The Hangover" actor for flirting with a woman on Twitter. The divorce settlement was costly for the actor who was reportedly ordered to pay his ex-wife spousal support for six and a half years and split royalties from his previous movies, among other things.
In May 2018, just a few months after his divorce from Mechelle was finalized, Mike announced his engagement to television producer Kyra Robinson. They tied the knot in June 2019.
