Tia Mowry-Hardrict and her husband, Cory Hardrict, tied the knot in April 2008, and the two have built a lovely family with two adorable kids, Cree and Cairo Hardrict.

The “Sister, Sister” actress recently shared a #flashbackfriday photo from that beautiful day which featured her white father, Timothy Mowry.

In the snap, Tia was pictured in a gorgeous white, Kevan Hall wedding gown that featured a floral sleeve on one shoulder. A sheer white veil covered her flawless face, and in her hand was a bouquet of pink roses.

Timothy was a proud father in a black suit with a pink boutonnière on his jacket collar. He wore a pair of dark sunglasses and a most brilliant smile as he looked at his daughter. Tia captioned the photo:

The wedding itself was a beautiful occasion for Tia and Cory, who dated for seven years before finally saying, “I do.” The couple wed in a stunning outdoor ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore in Santa Barbara, California.

The guest list consisted of 170 close family and friends. According to InStyle, Tia’s favorite moment of the day was walking down the aisle to a live performance of “For You” sung by Kenny Lattimore.

The couple’s wedding was a romantic dream come true, unlike Tia’s parents’ marriage, which she described as a “shotgun wedding.”

The “Family Reunion” actress’ parents were in the army and eloped at 18 years, and just three years later, at 21 years, they welcomed Tia and her twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley.

Darlene and Timothy did not have the most comfortable marriage as an interracial couple. Tia has spoken up about her childhood, where she saw her father's racially privileged life compared to that of her mother who is African American.

Tia’s parents’ love story eventually came to an end, and the couple divorced. Timothy has started dating again while her mother, Darlene, remains very private about her love life, much to Tia’s dismay.

Tia is very close to both her parents who are both in their sixties. In her Instagram post, she reminded her fans about safety during the coronavirus pandemic, urging them to keep their loved ones in mind during the holiday season.
