Being a champion athlete, businesswoman, and mother-of-one can become chaotic and busy at times, but Serena Williams still finds ways to sit back, relax, and be at peace.

In her recent Instagram post, the tennis superstar revealed where she finds serenity and time for herself amid these difficult months as she posed under the clear blue skies.

TAKING A STEP BACK

Dressed in a black long-sleeved top, army green pants, and black heeled boots, Williams walked towards her luxurious light blue Lincoln SUV parked outside her home.

Before getting behind the wheel of her Navigator, the athlete slightly opened her door and looked at the camera, allowing the sunlight to touch a part of her long curled hair.

“Anyone else take a moment to just chill in the car with the music on?” she wrote in her caption. “Sometimes it’s where I feel most serene.”

THE PERFECT BALANCE

When not alone on the road, Williams is busy being productive in her day-to-day activities. However, there are still small ways she relieves herself from stress and work-related problems.

She previously posted a photo bouncing a tennis ball off a wall at home, following the challenge of Roger Federer.

Meditation is among the things that help the tennis champion zone out and calm down. Watching a light show on television and focusing on her daughter, Olympia, are also ways she gets to balance her mind.

A SUCCESSFUL WOMAN

Williams began her tennis career alongside her older sister, Venus Williams. In 1999, she made her name more recognized by winning the Grand Slam at the US Open.

She made a historic win at the 2017 Australian Open, claiming her 23rd Grand Slam title and ranking number one worldwide. Williams made her win even more memorable by revealing she was two-months pregnant at the time of her victory.

On September 1, 2017, Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, welcomed their first daughter, Olympia. Despite having a child, the athlete continued her career and managed to stay fit amid the pandemic.

TENNIS INDOORS

During the peak of the pandemic, Williams showed her Instagram fans and followers just how dedicated she is to tennis. She previously posted a photo bouncing a tennis ball off a wall at home, following the challenge of Roger Federer.

Williams even quipped that she has been at it for several days and did not want to let anyone down. She also gave a special shoutout to Federer for the racquet he gave, which she was using.

There’s no doubt the pandemic has slowed down Williams’ tennis game as she resumes her games on the court, this time with her daughter cheering from the sidelines.
