How Usher & His Ex-wife Tameka Foster Celebrated Their Son Usher's 13th Birthday

Iconic singer Usher Raymond IV and his ex-wife Tameka Foster recently took to their Instagram pages to celebrate their son, Usher Raymond V, on his 13th birthday.

It is a double portion of everything for R&B crooner Usher Raymond's son Usher Raymond V as both of his parents took to their respective Instagram pages to celebrate their son and welcome him to teenagehood.

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster got creative as she paid tribute to her son with a slideshow, which featured adorable photos of him through the years.

Foster penned down a heartwarming tribute to her son, where she expressed her undying love for him and wished him a happy birthday.

Usher also shared a cute photo collage of his son through the years. The pictures featured mostly showed Usher V when he was much younger, and the singer revealed his delight at how much his son has grown. He wrote in the caption:

"Always have been, always will be a Big Shot!! @act_up_g You wanna be grown...so fast!! Slow down...I love my lil man, and am missing those days one year at a time."

Usher and his ex-wife Foster welcomed their first child together, son Usher Raymond V in November 2007. The duo also shares another son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, 11.

Foster worked as the singer's personal hairstylist for several years, and the duo eventually tied the knot in 2007 in a very intimate wedding ceremony.

On September 24, 2020, the "Confessions" singer welcomed a daughter, Sovereign Bo Raymond, with his longtime girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea.

After two years of marriage, the "Burn" crooner filed for divorce from Foster in June 2009. The duo then began a highly publicized custody battle, with Usher eventually awarded primary custody of their kids in August 2012.

Nearly a year later, the former couple's eldest son was involved in an accident while swimming in the singer's pool. Following the accident, Foster again sought custody of her children with Usher.

The case was quickly dismissed and Usher retained custody of his sons. In the years that followed, Usher and Foster had been able to put their disputes behind them and have developed an amicable relationship.

Their newfound friendship was highlighted last year when Foster took to her Instagram page to pen down a sweet message for her ex-husband as he celebrated his 41st birthday.

Despite his busy career, Usher has been a remarkable father to his two sons, and the trio always flaunts their enviable father-son relationship on social media.

Meanwhile, Usher recently became a father for the third time. On September 24, 2020, the "Confessions" singer welcomed a daughter, Sovereign Bo Raymond, with his longtime girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea.

With his second son Ely's birthday still to come next month, Usher and his family end the year with much to be thankful for and a lot to look forward to in the coming years.
