GROWN-UP LOVE
The two started dating in 2017 and met when Bennett was promoting his Food Network show “Halloween Wars.” The couple is devoted to each other and Bennett has credited Vaughan with helping him to "grow up."
Over the last two years, the duo has shared numerous posts on Instagram, giving their fans sweet glimpses into their lives together, and on November 1, 2020, Bennett shared the precious moment Vaughan proposed.
ENGAGED
Bennett shared a gallery of snaps on Instagram detailing the moment Vaughan proposed, starting of course, with the classical "will you" with the Celebrity Page TV host down on one knee.
In the photo, Vaughan is putting the ring on Bennett's finger, and he is clearly overcome with emotion and close to tears. In the next snap, Vaughan is consoling the teary-eyed Bennett.
In the final snap, Bennett smiles happily, as Vaughan tenderly kisses him on the cheek, and both men flaunt wide white-gold engagement bands. Bennett captioned the post:
"I said yes! And ugly cried like a crazy person. So excited to share this moment, from the custom rings he had made for us with @kayjewelers."
HISTORICAL MOVIE
Bennett also promised to share the song Vaughan sang to him before he proposed with his Instagram fans. Bennett gained recognition for his role in the 2004 cult movie "Mean Girls" starring Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams.
Bennett has made history by starring in the first Hallmark romantic movie to feature a same-sex couple, "The Christmas House," which premiered on November 22, 2020.
Bennett has always been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community and came out to his parents when he was 16.

"The Christmas House," which premiered on November 22, 2020, stars Treat Williams, and Sharon Lawrence as the parents of two sons, Brandon, a gay man married to Jake, and Mike, who starts falling for a next-door neighbor.
LGBTQ LOVE
The movie, which features a gay married couple struggling to overcome the difficulties of married life and come to terms with the fact that they may not be able to have a child is a first for Hallmark.
Hallmark has up until now been very conservative in the stories it tells and has always chosen to focus on heterosexual romances. Bennett has always been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community and came out to his parents when he was 16.
PLANNING THAT WEDDING
The two have yet to set a date for the Big Day, but they are already discussing -- and arguing -- over detailed plans for what each considers their dream wedding.
The problem is that Vaughan wants a classical, romantic ceremony in an elegant setting, and Bennett daydreams about a wedding something like the finale number of "The Greatest Showman."
Vaughan and Bennett will be hashing out a compromise, something that will be romantic and timeless, and yet have all the oomph and pizazz of a Broadway musical number...
As Vaughan confessed laughing, what he most loves about Bennett is his fun-loving enthusiasm, which promises to keep him on his toes for the rest of his life. The couple has made a point of sharing their romance and has inspired countless others.
