Kandi Burruss' Husband Todd Tucker Pens Touching Tribute to Late Mom and Shares Photo with Her
Todd Tucker paid his respects for his late mother Sharon in a heartfelt Instagram he shared for the 6th anniversary of her death.
6 years ago, Tucker lost his mother to a sudden stroke, he used his Instagram platform to honor her in a thoughtful post where he described her as his best friend.
Sharon Tucker died on December 2, 2014 after being hospitalized for a sudden stroke. A funeral or “going home service” was held where her son and his friends wore caps embroidered with her name.

Tucker’s wife, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Kandi Burruss shared with fans that the service has been beautiful and that she had appreciated everyone who had sent their regards and love.
Tucker had been Sharon’s only child and that fact had made him wonder how he would eventually handle the passing of his mother he explained on Instagram,
“I always wondered how I would handle my moms passing, but I have great friends and family and great support from my Instagram family.”
Sharon made a few lively appearances on her son and daughter-in-law’s show, including some memorable arguments with Burruss's mother, Joyce.
Sharon's death hit the family hard as Burruss had described that the family had suffered a great loss and that her death had come with no warning which made it harder to process.
He shared a photo of himself and his late mom, explained what her death meant to him.
Tucker has shown great love and appreciation toward his mother in his most recent Instagram post about her. The photo is a close-up shot of the mother and son looking straight at the camera.

“I’ve learned and I’m learning to be able to prepare and teach my family not to fear death, and celebrate life. “
Mama Sharon had been reported as unconscious due to a stroke when a friend of the family found her, she was hospitalized and slipped into a coma. She passed away the next day.
Tucker and his wife both honor the deceased every year on her birthday, posting thoughtful messages of appreciation and beautiful photos of themselves with Sharon.
Tucker met his wife Burrus on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” set, while he was working as a producer and she was a part of the cast.
The couple got engaged on New Year’s Day 2014 and have their April wedding televised on a spin-off reality show called “Kandi’s Wedding”.
