Gabrielle Union is undoubtedly a dedicated and hands-on mother to her little bundle of joy, Kaavia James, which is why it comes as no surprise that the two-year-old takes after her mother in caring for her little dolls.

In her recent post, Union and Dwyane Wade’s pride and joy shared a glimpse of her morning, strolling her doll around their home. The first few photos showed the toddler in a yellow onesie and a purple strapped baby carrier bag in front.

In front of Kaavia was her little doll sleeping in a colorful stroller. The last photo featured the adorable little girl outdoors, still with her doll and stroller, playing by the fountain. She quipped in the caption:

“These kids got me on my Mama Juice and it ain’t even 9am.”

Kaavia has been the couple’s pride and joy since arriving in 2018 through a surrogate mother. Shortly after her birth, the celebrity couple’s daughter already appeared on Oprah’s OWN network.

Union revealed that her daughter’s name, pronounced “Kah-Vee-Uh James,” was a tribute to her uncle and godfather. Not only was she the actress’ first child, but also her little miracle, after trying to conceive several times and suffering many miscarriages.

This year, the “Bring It On” star penned a children’s book, “Welcome to the Party,” inspired by her own story. She hoped that the book would encourage other families who unconventionally welcomed a child. Union said:

“The book is about the anticipation our family felt about the arrival of Kaavia James. It’s about our celebration of her and how our journey wasn’t how we expected.”
