Gal Gadot Shares Throwback of Her First Time in LA — See Where It All Began

Gal Gadot has made some amazing progress since she initially made it to Hollywood. Her first global film role came as Gisele Yashar in the 2009 film "Fast & Furious."

On December 10, 2020, Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot took to Instagram to share a throwback photo from her first time in Los Angeles. The 35-year-old beauty captioned the adorable snap:

"Came across this photo, it was taken my first time in LA in 2009."

"There is a saying I love - reality tops any imagination. Who knew what this journey will bring..." she added. Gadot included the hashtags "#grateful" and "#stillpinchingmyself" in her post.

Gadot gained worldwide recognition for portraying Diana Prince / Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, starting with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in 2016.

It was followed by the solo movie "Wonder Woman" and the ensemble "Justice League," both released in 2017. Gadot is promoting "Wonder Woman 1984."

The first release date of "Wonder Woman 1984," directed by Patty Jenkins, was in December 2019, and then it got bumped up the schedule to November 1, 2020.

Prior to becoming a renowned actress, Gadot was a beauty queen.

On December 2, 2020, Gadot took to Twitter to announce that finally, her film is coming out. In the video she shared, the actress explained that she is so excited to share it with her fans.

Meanwhile, there have been times where many people were agitated that Gadot, who is married to real estate developer Yaron Varsano, was picked for an important role during her time in Hollywood.

In spite of that, Gadot has pushed ahead and kept on succeeding. Prior to becoming a renowned actress, Gadot was a beauty queen. In 2004, she was crowned Miss Israel at 18 years old.

Gadot would go on to lose at the Miss Universe 2004 pageant. However, losing the title was the plan for her from the start. In an interview, she said that it looked like too much responsibility.

Gadot grew up in Rosh Haayin, a city near Tel Aviv. However, for most of her adult life, the star lived with her husband among friends and family, only a couple of blocks from the beach.

Gadot talks Hebrew to her loved ones and English to most every other person. According to Vogue, the actress's English is not perfect, but close. Sometimes, she even stumbles on a phrase or an idiom.
