According to USA Today, Bridges is currently battling lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. The “Big Lebowski” actor revealed his diagnosis back in October, and amid his struggle, he also showed support for his dear friend.

Bridges updated his website where he penned down a personal note for his dear old friend John Goodwin. Goodwin is a performer who is reportedly struggling financially due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Bridges showed immense support for many other people during his struggle and has lent a helping hand to those in need. According to Survivornet.com, in November, Bridges donated his finest guitar to help others.

The cause is for an auction to help people to benefit who need food. The donation was to raise money for the Livingston Food Resource Center, which is a non-profit organization.

As he continues to look out for others, it’s assuring that he still feels good regardless of his health condition. Bridges has been battling cancer for about two months now since he announced his diagnosis.

The “Hell or Water” revealed on Twitter the sad news about his health. Bridges tweeted that although he was diagnosed with lymphoma, he is fortunate to have a great team of doctors taking care of him.

At the time, Bridges stated that the prognosis is good. He continued to say that he started with treatment and that he will keep his fans posted on his recovery. According to People, Bridges thanked his friends and fans for their support days later.

Bridges shared that cancer has brought feelings of value, appreciation, and good old fashion love and a lot of it; he reportedly wrote on his website at the time. The singer concluded that he appreciates his impermanence now more than ever.
