Here's What Singer Keri Hilson Said about Pregnancy Rumors after Posting Photo with a Baby Bump
Singer Keri Hilson shocked her fans when she recently posted a picture of herself showing off a big baby bump on Instagram. Here's the truth behind her "pregnancy" in her words.
December 11 seemed like just another Friday to Keri Hilson's fans, but when they scrolled their Instagram feeds, they could not believe their eyes. That was the day when the singer shared snaps of her seemingly pregnant belly.
None of them were prepared for that. Hilson had not shared the news before that, and judging by the size of the bump, it was clear that she had kept the news to herself for quite some time.

THE INTERNET WAS ECSTATIC
Congratulations poured in from every direction and the post quickly went viral. In fact, it is one of the most double-tapped posts on her Instagram page with nearly 400 thousand likes.
Hilson sure had fun making the headlines.
Some fellow A-listers also took to the comments to send their best wishes to the gorgeous mom-to-be, but what they did not know was that the bump was actually fake.
Some fans noticed how she had tagged many accounts, one of which was the television network Lifetime. A closer look at her photos gives away that she snapped them in a studio.

WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON
Hilson might not have intended to deceive anyone, but it was already big news. To dismiss the rumors, the singer shared another post and explained what was really going on. She wrote:
"Oh yeah, I’m married too. (I thought the tags were pretty obvious—it was only supposed to be jarring for a few seconds!)"
Hilson sure had fun making the headlines. In the same post, she further shared how the role has given her the opportunity to perform her best on-screen.
The singer is pretty excited about the new project. She also thanked the ones who supported her including the director, partners, and the executive producers.
HER LOVE OF ACTING
Hilson might have started out as a singer and songwriter, but she has a great love for acting. She thinks of it as an opportunity to learn and grow as a person.
After disappearing from the public eye, Hilson marked her return with a movie called "Almost Christmas" in 2016. Back then, she said she learned a lot from the cast and even gushed about Gabrielle Union.
