FAMILY DRAMA

She then became a member of the Nightrippers for Dr. John. She sang background for Dr. John until the birth of her son, James Timothy Norman, after which she started singing commercial jingles.

Norman is currently facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in the death of Montgomery's grandson Andre. He allegedly orchestrated the murder with Terica Ellis, one of the defendants in the case.

St. Louis police detective Donald Thurmond revealed that Norman was suspected of stealing $200,000 in cash from Montgomery's home. According to Ellis, that was the reason why his relationship with Norman turned bitter.

Thurmond further revealed that Norman and Ellis had agreed to bring Andre to a secure location. Ellis would lure him to the spot where he would be shot by an unidentified third party.

NORMAN'S FATE

Norman also faces charges for conspiring to commit wire and mail fraud for attempting to claim Montgomery's insurance money that is said to be nearly $450,000. Montgomery remained silent on the matter for many months.

Finally speaking out on the matter, she thanked the internet for the love and support during the difficult times. She did not say much, but it is clear that she was hurting and did not want to talk about what happened.
