THE EARLY YEARS

After the couple met for the first time in London, Markle told Vanity Fair in September 2017 that mutual friends introduced them. A source also said that Harry loved that Markle was into philanthropy.

In October 2016, the first reports about the couple's romance began to emerge, and in November 2016, the prince confirmed the dating rumors.

THE DATING STAGE

Harry took things to the next stage and introduced Meghan to his sister-in-law, Duchess Kate, and niece Princess Charlotte. A source told Us Weekly that Meghan was happy to meet Harry's family.

The royal child, who is Queen Elizabeth's eighth grandchild and seventh in line to the throne, is the first interracial baby.

The duo started hanging out more and was spotted at several places, including a Charity polo match, Pippa Middleton and James Mathews' nuptials, and Meghan's 36th birthday in Botswana.

THE ENGAGEMENT

A source confirmed that Harry had asked Markle's parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, for Markle's hand in marriage sometime in September 2017.

The beautiful love story continued as palace officials announced Meghan and Harry's engagement. Clarence House added in a statement that the prince had proposed earlier that month.

THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER

At a photocall at Kensington Palace, Meghan flaunted her engagement ring, which glowed with diamonds, and on December 21, the cute duo released their engagement pictures.

The royal couple's fairytale peaked as they tied the knot on May 19, 2018, and about a year later, welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison, on May 8, 2019.

The royal child, who is Queen Elizabeth's eighth grandchild and seventh in line to the throne, is the first interracial baby in the British royal family history.

Not bothered about people's thoughts on her background, the "Suits" actress seems to enjoy her life with her partner, Prince Harry, stating that they were two happy people in love.
