Brandt disclosed that she was in the living room drinking a beer when Gilbert walked in and saw her for the first time. He immediately began to wonder who this girl was who was drinking before the rehearsals.

As reported by "Express," Brandt revealed that it only took them two rehearsals before they were kissing each other. They had this instant connection that had them talking and laughing for hours as soon as they met. She said:

"We talked for the next two hours and laughed a lot, and then at our next rehearsal we kissed."

They finally exchanged vows in 2015 after having dated for about three years. It was a romantic wedding in Bennington, Vermont, Gilbert's hometown, after struggling for a while to decide on the perfect venue.

Two years later, they welcomed their son into the world. They named their first child Kingston Payne Brandt-Gilbert. The couple even took to social media to share the proud moment with their fans.
