"We cannot wait to be married and are looking forward to a life together."
ARIANA GRANDE & DALTON GOMEZ
The “God Is a Woman” singer Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez surprised the world on December 20 after revealing their engagement on social media.

KESHIA KNIGHT PULLIAM & BRAD JAMES
“The Cosby Show” alum Keshia Knight Pulliam and actor Brad James got engaged in Atlanta in December, as well. Unlike the previous couples, the big news was shared by Pulliam’s rep.

GABOUREY SIDIBE & BRANDON FRANKEL
Gabby Sidibe and her boyfriend Brandon Frankel, who she has also credited as her “best friend,” got engaged in 2020, as well. The “Empire” actress revealed the news on November 24.
Frankel’s proposal was quite particular. He got help from the couple’s cat, Derrell, who wore a charm reading, “will you marry my daddy?” Frankel included balloons and rose petals, too.
JUSTIN DUGGAR & CLAIRE SPIVEY
Two months after “Counting On” star Justin Duggar and Claire Spivey began courting, they got engaged. In a statement shared by the couple, they admitted they were meant to spend their lives with each other. They added:
"We cannot wait to be married and are looking forward to a life together of faith in Christ, love for one another, and happiness!"

TAREK EL MOUSSA & HEATHER RAE YOUNG
“Flip or Flop” star Tarek El Moussa proposed to his girlfriend Heather Rae Young, known for “Selling Sunset,” during a boat trip to Catalina Island in California while celebrating their first anniversary.
Since the couple loves the island and spending time on the boat together, the TV personality considered it would be the best way to pop the question.
DUANE CHAPMAN & FRANCIE FRANE
Bounty hunter and TV personality Duane “Dog” Chapman and Francie Frane, a rancher from Colorado, got engaged in May, about ten months after Chapman’s wife Beth died of throat cancer.
According to Frane, who went public about her relationship with Chapman in March 2020, Chapman turned off all of the lights and lit a “bunch of candles” to pop the question.
Frane, who was not expecting the proposal, added that they would wait until after the coronavirus lockdown to actually walk down the aisle so that their friends and family can be present.
It seems like plenty of celebrities will tie the knot in 2021! However, gospel singer Kierra Sheard couldn’t wait that long, so she married Jordan Kelly in December. The photos of the ceremony are gorgeous.
