People: Gwen Stefani's 3 Kids Anxiously Await Their Mother and Blake Shelton's Wedding
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are gearing up to tie the knot soon enough, and fans are already thrilled. Apparently, the couple will also have a significant role for the kids to play at their wedding.
This week, People Magazine reported that musicians Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are moving fast with their wedding plans. However, the couple is taking time to define roles for everyone to play.
Also in the mix are Stefani's three boys – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. The news source explained that Stefani can not imagine getting married without the boys and that she already has roles for them to play.

A friend to the couple explained that the three boys will play significant roles in the ceremony and that they are also excited to be doing so. Considering that the boys reportedly helped with the proposal as well, this will be rather exciting. The friend said:
"Gwen's sons are just really solid, sweet kids, and they're so excited for Blake and Gwen to get married. They can't wait to stand by their sides."
The friend added that country singer Shelton had built a strong relationship with Stefani's boys, whom the singer had with her former husband, Gavin Rossdale.
Stefani reportedly made it clear that she prioritized her boys more than anything else from the beginning of the relationship. Shelton respected that, and the boys took to him quite nicely too.
She noted that they would not want her wedding to be a "COVID situation," so they are extra careful.
Over time, Shelton and the boys built a relatively strong bond. The singer took the boys on fishing trips at his Oklahoma ranch several times, and he became something of a father figure.
With Shelton now having the seal of approval from Stefani's boys, it appears that all systems are now set for the big day. Speaking of the big day, plans are already in full swing for the couple's wedding.
The couple and their families are working double-time to ensure that things go without a hitch. Of course, there is the hanging topic of the novel coronavirus and how everyone plans to work around it.
Earlier this month, Stefani told Ryan Seacrest that the health crisis remains front and center of their plans. As the singer explained, they had been considering the number of guests at the wedding.
She noted that they would not want her wedding to be a "COVID situation," so they are extra careful. When Seacrest asked if Stefani would prefer to have a larger wedding or a smaller one, Stefani pointed out that she wanted her parents to be there no matter what.
Still, inviting only family members could make the wedding a crowded affair. The couple is yet to announce a date for the wedding. However, it appears that things will move relatively quickly once the new year rolls around.
