Val Chmerkovskiy Celebrates His Nephew Prince's 4th Birthday – Check Out His Sweet Greeting
Val Chmerkovskiy proves he is a doting uncle, as he celebrates his nephew's 4th birthday with a delightful throwback baby picture. He, with his wife, Jenna Johnson have said they are itching to become first-time parents.
"Dancing With The Stars" (DWTS) pro dancer, Val Chmerkovskiy shares a throwback pic of his nephew, Shai, as a baby, to mark the boy's fourth birthday on January 4.
In the photo, the shirtless Ukranian native was holding baby Shai, who was fast asleep dressed in a light blue baby grow and wrapped in a white blanket, decorated with birds.

The DWTS Season 20 winner wished his nephew a joyful 4th birthday, while also dedicating a message to his parents, brother Maksim and his wife Peta Murgatroyd.
In the snap, the 34-year old's thick, black hair covers one of his eyes, as he looks up into the camera. He accompanied his caption with a golden crown emoji, writing:
"Prince Chmerkovskiy growing up handsomely."
Following Chmerkovskiy's marriage to DWTS pro dancer, Jenna Johnson in April 2019, Johnson explained she wanted to enjoy married life and was not in a rush to start a family. The pair met when Johnson joined the DWTS troupe in 2014.
Fast forward to September 2020, and the "So You Think You Can Dance" alum revealed that both she and her husband could not wait to have babies.
Shai is fortunate to have Chmerkovskiy as an uncle, who has been spoiling him since his birth in 2017.
The pair are so ready to have little ones, that Johnson, 26, revealed last October she had made a pact with her sister in law, Murgatroyd, for the two of them to fall pregnant at the same time, jokingly telling her she needed to conceive again.
This will no doubt make Chmerkovskiy thrilled as he's been dreaming about becoming a father since 2018 when he and Johnson were just dating. He added at the time:
"I can't wait to be a father, I'm more eager to be a father than a husband, for sure."
Chmerkovskiy arrived with his brother as a child in New York City after his father bought the family over from their native Odessa, Ukraine.
He dedicated his 2018 memoir, "I'll Never Change My Name" to his parents, which he said represented his parents' devotion to how their life was impacted by the move to the United States.
Shai is fortunate to have Chmerkovskiy as an uncle, who has been spoiling him since his birth in 2017. Chmerkovskiy commented on how Maksim becoming a father changed the dynamic of the entire family.
Should the day ever arrive for Chmerkovskiy and Johnson to share their pregnancy news, they'll be welcomed with open arms by fellow DWTS parents including Karina Smirnoff, Allison Holker, and Gleb Savchenko, who are all parents.
