Tarek El Moussa Pokes Fun at the Battle between His Fiancée & Daughter Taylor over His Beard
“Flip or Flop” reality star Tarek El Moussa joked that his new look had started a battle between the two leading ladies in his life, his daughter and his fiancée.
Tarek El Moussa’s daughter Taylor, 10, and his fiancée, “Selling Sunset” Star Heather Rae Young, 33, have apparently been expressing differing views about his facial hair and whether they approve or not.
In an exclusive clip from “Tarek’s Flip Side,” the father of two revealed that while Young encourages him to grow out his beard, his daughter is not a fan of his facial hair and prefers him clean-shaven.

Taylor opened up about her strong relationship with her future step-mom revealing, “She’s the best, I love hanging out with her,” but complained about her father’s new beard, saying:
“It makes him look old.”
Despite their style differences, the duo seems to really enjoy each other’s company, with Young referring to herself as a "bonus mum" to El Moussa's two children from his previous relationship.
El Moussa shares physical and legal custody of his daughter Taylor and son Brayden with his ex-wife and co-host, Christina Anstead, who welcomed her son Hudson with British TV star Ant Anstead in 2019.
The stars are often seen attending the children’s birthday parties and school concerts together. In an interview, Christina says of their co-parenting style:
"It's so important to still communicate and show [our] kids that we're still friends, that we'll always be a family."
El Moussa and Young met in July 2019, after being introduced by mutual friends. On the couple’s anniversary, El Moussa popped the question in an elaborate setup at the couple's favorite spot, Catalina Island.
So far, the bridal party includes Taylor standing at Young’s side, whereas Brayden will be standing with his father.
The pair split their time between their two homes in Southern California. They spend most of their time in OC, where El Moussa purchased a 2.28 million dollar home in 2018, saying it was the perfect space for his kids to play.
On Instagram, the couple has been giving fans a sneak peek into their wedding planning process. So far, the bridal party includes Taylor standing at Young’s side, whereas Brayden will be standing with his father.
However, the "Flip or Flop" star is shy to celebrate his upcoming nuptials during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pair are hoping to be surrounded by friends and family.
The celebs are hoping to hold their "maybe" TV-free nuptials sometime in the summer of 2021 somewhere in California or Italy. The exact location is not yet confirmed.
