Jennifer Lopez, posing for the February 2021 cover of Elle Magazine, detailed how her son Maximilian's request for her to use her platform to protest racial injustices made her realize she had raised a loving child.

The star has been known to support worthy causes. Last year, she and her fiancé Alex Rodrigues attended demonstrations held in Los Angeles after the senseless killing of George Floyd.

The star's son realized Lopez had a huge following like the YouTube gamers he follows, Lopez has over 130 million followers on Instagram alone, so he asked her if she would use it to offer support towards George Floyd.

The mother of two revealed she had intended to do so anyway, but Lopez and Rodriguez worked with Maximilian and Emme to make signs which she and Rodriguez held up at the demonstration. Lopez recalled the moment saying:

Lopez showcased her love of her Puerto Rican heritage during the Halftime performance at the Super Bowl last year. While Emme sang "Born in the USA," the star's American flag costume live switched to the Puertorican flag.

Lopez talked to Elle about her new skincare line named JLo Beauty, which she launched in December last year. The mother of two says the secret to her signature glowy skin is Olive Oil, which her mother and aunt used.

"They’d put it in your hair, then it would drip down onto your face, and the next day, your complexion looked like you were 10 years old."
