Legendary actress Betty White turned 99 over the weekend, and the whole of Hollywood couldn’t be happier. In an array of social media posts, stars paid tribute to the icon. Talk show host Marie Osmond wrote:

Osmond shared a lovely photo of herself and the celebrant in a warm embrace as they posed for a photo. The “Donny & Marie" singer rocked a blue jacket while White opted for her signature pantsuit ensemble.

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres described the actress as a miracle in a short tribute on Twitter. Journalist Kathie Lee Gifford uploaded a throwback photo of her and “The Golden Girls” alum in a video with matching blonde wigs.

She lauded the icon for being so young at heart while remaining a blessing to everyone. “Today” weatherman Al Roker reiterated Gifford’s sentiments with a sweet photo of him and White posing for a photo while bonding over tea.

Asner confessed to feeling warm whenever he sees the scene and called his beloved co-star “baby.”

Valerie Bertinelli chose to upload a video showing bloopers of White in the hit sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,” while Piers Morgan shared a cute photo of the aged actress planting a sweet kiss on his hand.

He described White as a true star, both off-screen and on-screen. More shoutouts came from stars like Ed Asner, Regina King, Nina West, Josh Gad, Jackée Harry, Ming-Na Wen, George Takei, and many more.

Asner, White’s co-star in the famed 1970s sitcom, “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” shared a heart-melting photo of him and the birthday girl staring at each other sweetly with bright smiles on their faces.

Asner confessed to feeling warm whenever he sees the scene and called his beloved co-star, “baby.” He praised her for living life on her terms and sent her a socially distanced kiss before declaring his love for her.

As expected, the array of tributes significantly impacted social media platforms as White trended on Twitter on her big day. In an interview before her birthday, the actress shared plans to celebrate.

She revealed she would feed the two ducks who visit her daily and work on the digital re-release of her old show, “The Pet Set.”
