One fan immediately pointed out the resemblance between the pair calling them twins, while another commented that Deacon had taken the best attributes from both Witherspoon and his father, Phillippe, 46.

Another complementary follower wrote she loved Deacon too and didn't even know him. As a mother herself, she could relate to the level of affection Witherspoon captured in her caption:

"Love him to the moon ?? @deaconphillippe."

Following the "Inherent Vice" star and Phillippe's divorce in 2007, they spoke publicly about prioritizing Ava and Deacon in the interests of easier co-parenting. The doting dad often takes the kids on trips, but both get to share ample time with each parent.

Furthermore, Witherspoon's current husband, Jim Toth, treats Deacon and Ava as if they were his own. In 2015, Phillippe expressed his happiness during "Larry King Live" that Witherspoon had found happiness again.

Witherspoon and Ryan met at her 21st birthday in 1997 and were married two years later.

In October, both Witherspoon and Phillippe shared loving messages on their social media platforms for Deacon's 17th birthday. The parents reunited to celebrate the birthday in a small backyard celebration with friends and family.

The star of "The Morning Show" captured a sweet message listing all the wonderful qualities Deacon possessed, in a picture of the youngster wearing a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt, as she wrote in her caption:

"What a pleasure to watch you grow into an amazing young man who is always curious and endlessly creative."

Witherspoon and Phillippe met at her 21st birthday in 1997 and were married two years later. By 2006, they had separated, and their divorce got finalized in 2007. Together, they starred in "Cruel Intentions," playing love interests.

The Oscar winner has previously said there were no hard feelings after the pair went their separate ways. They blamed the split on just being too young when they married, saying they didn't know themselves as individuals at the time.

Even though the Coronavirus pandemic stopped many Hollywood projects dead in their tracks, Witherspoon still has numerous upcoming projects, including her reprisal of Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde 3."

Although Deacon has not taken after his parents and gone into acting, the teenager still inherited an artistic side, as he debuted his EDM single last summer.
