Witherspoon and Phillippe met at her 21st birthday in 1997 and were married two years later. By 2006, they had separated, and their divorce got finalized in 2007. Together, they starred in "Cruel Intentions," playing love interests.
The Oscar winner has previously said there were no hard feelings after the pair went their separate ways. They blamed the split on just being too young when they married, saying they didn't know themselves as individuals at the time.
Even though the Coronavirus pandemic stopped many Hollywood projects dead in their tracks, Witherspoon still has numerous upcoming projects, including her reprisal of Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde 3."
Although Deacon has not taken after his parents and gone into acting, the teenager still inherited an artistic side, as he debuted his EDM single last summer.
