Ray Allen's Wife Shannon Celebrates Spouse Day with Sweet Photo Posing with Her Husband

Miami Celtics icon Ray Allen's wife, Shannon Walker Williams posted a sweet tribute to her handsome husband of 12 years on National Spouse Day.

After 12 years of marriage and 24 years together, Shannon Walker and her husband Ray Allen are as much in love as ever. Walker demonstrated her devotion with a sweet post on Instagram.

The retired basketball player and the former singer with the R&B group Shades met in 1996 and share four children, all sons: Walter, 16, Walker, 14, Wynn, 11, and Wynstan, 8.

CELEBRATING LOVE

January 26 has been celebrated as National Spouse Day since 1984, and this year Walker chose to pay tribute to her husband with a public post on Instagram. She captioned a sweet snap of the couple:

MEETING RAY ALLEN

Walker revealed that she met Allen in 1996, on the night the Shades released their first single. It turned out to be a momentous day for her in more ways than one.

She and Allen started dating and welcomed their first child together in 2004. Their second son was born in 2006, and in 2008, the couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

In 2017, the marriage was shaken when Allen was involved in a "catfishing" scandal.

GROWING THE FAMILY

In 2009, Walker and Allen welcomed a third child together, yet another boy, Wynn, and in 2012, the family grew yet again with the arrival of their youngest, Wynstan.

Allen has a daughter, Tierra Allen, whom he shares with his former girlfriend Rosalind Ramsey. Tierra was born when Allen was just 19 and starting out his career. He is close to his 26-year-old daughter.

CATFISHED

In 2017, the marriage was shaken when Allen was involved in a "catfishing" scandal. The basketball player had been chatting online to a series of what he thought were attractive women -- he was wrong.

The beautiful women he thought were interested in him were in fact a man, Bryant Keith Coleman, who subsequently accused the basketball player of stalking him. Since the scandal, the couple seems to have consolidated their relationship and moved on.

TALENTED MOM

Walker is a lot more than just a celebrity wife, she is a gifted actress with credits in the sitcom "Strangers With Candy" and the series "Century City." She is also a talented songwriter with her own record label, "New Music Chronicles."

The Northeastern University graduate is also the author of a cookbook, "The Pregame Meal," in which she shares her 24-year experience with preparing meals for a high-performance athlete.
